These rappers are steeped in pop culture and clearly love it, but they also clearly love lampooning how often it circulates regressive, racist discourse (incase their name didn’t give that away). If they wanted to, they are talented and intelligent enough to turn hip hop on its head, I just don’t think they want to.  Which, naturally, makes them even more intriguing.
